Secondary level protection

The Secondary Level Protection module is designed to provide advanced control of power lines, protecting both source and load from abnormal operating conditions. The system monitors voltage and current in real time, triggering automatic circuit disconnection in the presence of overcurrent, overvoltage or undervoltage.
The unit integrates user-friendly telemetry and configuration capabilities, making it suitable for settings where safety and accuracy are critical, such as test environments for space and avionics applications.

Main functions:

  • Three-pronged protection (OCP, OVP, UVP): automatic detection and intervention on overcurrent, overvoltage or undervoltage
  • Configurable parameters: maximum voltage of 200 V DC, maximum current of 20 A DC, and tripping time settable from 50 µs to 500 ms. All values are customizable upon request.
  • Real-time telemetry: continuous measurement of current and voltage, accessible via graphical interface.
  • Management via GUI: Intuitive software interface for setting protection parameters and monitoring operational status.
  • Compact format: up to 3 protected lines housed in a 19 “” 2U subrack, optimizing space within complex EGSE systems.

The device is an effective solution for implementing intelligent and flexible protection in power systems, helping to increase test reliability and safety.
