Latching Current Limiter

The Latching Current Limiter is a protection module designed to ensure power supply safety during test phases by preventing damage to the device under test (DUT) in the event of an overcurrent. Integratable into EGSE systems and test benches, this device offers reliable and configurable protection for power lines up to 200 V DC.

Main functions:

  • Protection in latch mode: in the event of an overcurrent, the module limits the current to a predefined value for a configurable time interval, and if the condition persists, the line is switched off to prevent damage to the DUT.
  • Configurable parameters: maximum voltage of 200 V DC, maximum current of 10 A DC, and limitation time settable from 50 µs to 500 ms. (All parameters are customizable upon request)
  • Control interface: compatible with KeyTest software and EDEN module, for integrated and automated test management.
  • Status signaling: dedicated output for monitoring protection status, facilitating system supervision.
  • Hardware compatibility: designed for integration with third-party hardware, providing flexibility and adaptability to different test configurations.

This device is ideal for aerospace, defense, and semiconductor applications, where power protection is crucial for safety and test reliability.
